House Points Leader Board

A huge well done to all our Houses, Top 10 students and Subject Stars of the Week for their amazing work and the number of E-Praise point collected this past week!

Brindley remains in first place on our House Points Leader board, followed very closely by Florence with Kelford in third place. Can Brindley keep their position for another week?

Library Cinema Screening and Bring a Book Reward

Who knew that reading could be even more fun and rewarding? Students now have the chance to win a cinema screening in our library based on the number of books they read!

Year 7, 8 and 9 can check out and start reading any book in their ZPD range, with Year 10 pupils who improve their reading scores by taking our AR quizzes until the 1st December also in with a chance to win a ticket prize. We have seen wonderful levels of engagement from our students and hope they are inspired to continue their reading journeys.

Further to this, we have now also added lots of ‘pre-loved’ books to E-Praise, which students can buy for only 50 points and keep.

As part of this, we are also welcoming book donations from students and their families. Please bring all donations to Miss Haycock, where for each book donated students will receive 10 points. Books must be in a good, readable condition and suitable for our school readers. Students must ask for parents and carers permission before bringing books in. For further information or questions, please see Miss Haycock or Mrs Parkes.

Happy Reading!

November House Charity – Children in Need

During November, each of our houses have been set up with a charity event which they can donate to, with the house achieving the highest donations receiving 100 house points to add to their overall house points total. Points will then be converted into cash and donated to Children in Need on behalf of each house.
