Assessments and Reports

How do we report on student progress?

There are many different types of assessment that students will complete during their time at WBCA. 

Progress Reports 

We will report home to you at least three times per academic year so that you can be kept up to date with your child’s progress, and examination results (at certain points of the year)..

Here are the three main reports that you will receive each year. They are published at different times depending on the year group.

  • AP1 Autumn Progress Report (including any Key Stage 3 Baseline Test Results)
  • AP2 Spring Progress Report
  • AP3 Summer Progress Report
 

Full Reports

You will also receive an annual Full Report that contains a more detailed review of the strengths of the students, and their areas for development in each subject area.

Examination Results

You may also receive separate statements of Mock Exam results following an exam period. It may be that they are included with a termly Progress Report.

Assessment Calendar

We aim to publish all reports in the week of the dates stated in the table.

 

In some cases, reports may be delayed to ensure that appropriate quality assurance has taken place.
