As part of their ‘Journeys’ theme for this half term, our Year 7 students have been visiting a variety of local places of worship to enrich their learning experiences and gain first hand understanding of what they have been learning as part of their religious education.

These visits play a crucial role in helping students to deepen their appreciation and understanding of different faiths, allowing them to ask questions and gain valuable insights into various religious practices. It’s through these meaningful experiences that our students grow into informed, empathetic and culturally aware individuals.

A special thank you to Guru Nanak Gurdwara, BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Holy Trinity Church and Baitul Ghafoor Mosque for being so accommodating and welcoming our students on their visits.
