Dear Families

I am pleased to say, well ahead of schedule, we have received our final Ofsted report. It will be published on the Ofsted website within 8 days but they have asked us to send it out to all parents and carers before this happens.

The report gives us ‘Outstanding’ in three categories, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development and Leadership and Management. This is a really strong achievement, the student body were an absolute credit to us and the report recognises that. The report notes a number of areas they thought were ‘exceptional’, these include behaviour, SEND support and personal development.

We received ‘Good’ in one category, Quality of Education and that meant we are ‘Good’ for Overall Effectiveness. We have one point for improvement in making sure all staff are checking the understanding and progress of all students before transitioning to the next part of the lesson.

There is a huge amount to be proud of, proud of the staff, proud of the students, proud of the families that make up our community.

I hope this report gives you all confidence the Academy is in a good place as it approaches the end of its first 5 years. I have attached the full report here:
