West Bromwich Collegiate Academy is delighted to announce that it will be opening its doors to prospective students and their parents on Thursday 12 September 4.30pm-8.00pm. No need to book, just turn up.
The Academy is an oversubscribed school with 156 places available in Year 7, dedicated to serving the local community. They firmly believe that students have the potential to achieve greatness and deserve the very best of education for a successful and fulfilling future.
During the open event, families will have the opportunity to engage with departments, look around its state-of-the-art facilities, speak with staff and students about life at the Academy and meet with the Principal.
Principal, George Faux, said: “We look forward to welcoming our prospective students and families to our Academy and show them the incredible opportunities that await when they join us.
“We encourage families to arrive early, granting ample time to get the most out of your visit as we usually have a large number of families visit us. Your child’s education is of the utmost importance, and we are here to ensure you make the right decision.”
The Academy will also be offering a series of open mornings from Monday 16 September to Thursday 19 September, 9.00am-11.00am by appointment only. For further details, please contact the Academy directly.
Applications for parents applying for secondary school places through Sandwell are now open, with applications through Dudley opening Sunday 1 September 2024. From these dates, parents of children moving into Year 7 will be able to apply for their place via their local authority.
