Badges shining and smiles wide, a group of students at West Bromwich Collegiate Academy have stepped into their new roles as Inclusion Ambassadors, pledging to help make every student feel seen, heard and valued.

Their role is simple but powerful: to champion kindness, promote belonging, and work to ensure a supportive environment for all students.

The initiative reflects the Academy’s ongoing commitment to inclusion, with ambassadors acting as role models and advocates for their peers. They will help foster a culture where students feel safe, welcome and respected, and will support the school in embedding these values across all aspects of school life.

Executive Principal, George Faux, commented: “Our Inclusion Ambassadors give students a voice and the opportunity to shape the kind of community we all want to be a part of. By promoting kindness, respect and understanding, they support their peers and help the whole school thrive. Their leadership encourages everyone to take an active role in making the Academy a place where every student feels confident, included and able to succeed.”

The Academy looks forward to seeing how its Inclusion Ambassadors will shape school life in the months ahead. Their ideas and initiatives are set to inspire students, continue to foster a positive school culture, and reinforce the sense of community that makes West Bromwich Collegiate Academy a place where students are proud to belong.
