As part of our Literacy for Life theme ‘Whose Earth Is It Anyway?’, our Year 9 students have been learning about how humans can impact planet Earth and designed their own flags to represent Antarctica. All of the entries we received were excellent with some of our flags even being sent to Antarctica itself!
Congratulations to our overall winner Charlie, for creating a flag which represented the penguins living in Antarctica. Also, huge congratulations to our runner up Oliwia, whose design comprised of flags from around the world to make up the shape of Antarctica, representing how everyone is responsible for its preservation.
Thank you to all our Year 9’s for their entries! As always, our students have done us proud.
