In commemoration of this year’s theme, ‘Saluting Our Sisters’, WBCA hosted a poetry competition inviting students to write about their role models and inspirational figures who have made significant contributions to their respective fields.

Embracing the theme’s essence, students not only celebrated the stories of their local communities and families, but also their personal experiences as young people or women.

The entries submitted by students this year were inspirational and showcased a high level of creativity which truly celebrated the voices of everyday heroes.
