As we approach the final weeks of term, our Young Engineers Society reflect on their brilliant works of innovation, creativity and teamwork.

The Society, which is currently open to our year 7 and 8 groups, have been hard at work over the past year taking part in some exciting activities. From constructing bug hotels to tackling bridge building challenges, contributing to prop productions to the exploration of Lego Technic and solar panel-powered creations, our students have embraced a wide range of engineering projects and skill development.

We are proud to offer our students a diverse range of extra-curricular opportunities here at West Bromwich Collegiate Academy, and it’s a privilege to be able to see our students grow and develop as a result of their commitment to learning and exploration.

We would also like to say a huge thank you to our dedicated staff who lead our Young Engineers Society. Their commitment to supporting our students’ interests plays a huge role in making activities like these a huge success and its clear that our students gain a great sense of joy and accomplishment with each project.
