Author Georgia Byng Share Creative Writing Expertise with Year 7  

We were privileged to welcome children’s author Georgia Byng, who made a special visit to our year 7 students, where she shared her expertise and process for creative writing and what life as an author is really like.

Byng’s experiences and knowledge offered our students a deeper understanding of the creative journey and how to nurture these skills, as well as the joys and challenges of working as a professional in the literary field.

An exciting highlight of the session was the unveiling of her newly published novel, “Albi”, which Byng shared excerpts of with the students. Copies of her book will soon be available to borrow from our library and will no doubt inspire a love of reading and writing among our school community.
